Ninja,
In response to your answer to :
#2) Is that all there is? |
I would like to say I would never say such a thing, as I find the chances of it becoming a self-fulfilling prophesy, is extremely high.

For the man, also in eastern societies three major things are associated with his manhood, courage, hard work/meeting financial needs of his family and being able to meet sexual needs of his woman, therefore to hurt a man here a woman or man can call him coward, useless or sexual disabled.

Men like words of confidence and ego boosting comments. I think both genders do.
You hit the nail square on the head. This kind of behaviour is why , some of us who do have values and have SELF control and really are looking for a monogamous relationship have problems.
MY family hates me being on it. I am on same dating site, I believe.. I have had one or two nice respectful men until they meet you.
And I have a very tiny girlfriend here, also that spends months with a man only to be tossed out and she comes back crying to me.....BUT she won't listen to me either.
I choose to stay busy looking then busy crying..lol
I have come to the conclusion , all the GOOD ones are taken.
Until you are single and on a dating site, you have no idea what men say or try until you walk in those shoes.. IT is so funny to hear the men tell of ALL the women they conquered last week while you try to keep a straight face eating across the table from Kiss and tell all...man..
Women who reward their souls for a Streak dinner, are why the rest of us who value waiting until we find the MR> RIGHT with his morals in check, have problems not throwing up before we get back home.
THe man then is right back on the SITE, on to the next one..It is laughable for sure.
I like my DESERT OR IS IT dessert???
But I am saving it till I find my Prince.

Beetree,,To tell a man he is a failure might be a pretty serious offense..Men are very performance driven and to say that they failed is tough pill for them to swallow..
by beetree on 26 April 2012 - 12:04
I find when a man thinks he's smarter than me, I always let him think so. Unless or until, I decide I hate his guts, then I sometimes show him he's not.
Ruger1,
Good point, insults only work on somebody who cares about how the "deliverer" thinks about the "receiver".
And, to add to your other point, an even more particular failure, as in lack of prowess under the covers, seems also to be in agreement with Ibrahim's perspective. My research also indicated men especially dread the silent message of a woman grabbing their heads with both hands to stop them. It is known by them as the "universal sign of failure".

Beetree,,This "universal sign of failure"..I do not get?,,I wasn't going to admit to it lol. but my curiosity is getting the best of me..;)
