We definitely felt a sting this year and we pay quarterly estimated taxes throughout the year to soften the blow. But, it is bitter sweet to see what you earned then wonder where it went and what you now have to pay. We have had our own businesses since we have been married and have gotten used to the "sticker shock" every year. My salary is a joke in my second career. I try to look on the bright side. The more we pay the more we must have earned? I just wish I could find out where it went.

It seems to be heading to more "political agendas" You might want to ask your local congressman or woman?
I see many military men/women working FT and holding a PT job off base.
With hubby's college, the Post 911 bill is NOT all that. His schooling is only paid at 60%, he used to get 100%
The only way new grunts get "any" college paid is only after deployment's. They no longer care how many years you have put in.
To get 100% FULL Post 911, you have to have 36 mos of deployment time in.
