Slamdunc's post was spot on, at this age you want to build a bond with this pup, corrections can build mistrust. No can be a marker for positive punishment (giving a correction) the same way yes is used as a marker for positive reinforcement (reward), but it should only be used for serious behaviours. I use uh-uh as a marker for wrong behaviour (no reward try again). The problem with no is it is over used and looses it's meaning and gives the dog no direction.
