That is better than what an old retail boss of mine had us do. If someone asked for something we didn't have and we knew we didn't carry the item, we weren't allowed to say that. We had to say it was in a location somewhere at the back of the store. The idea was that somehow by not finding what they were looking for, the confused customer would instead buy something else they weren't looking for.

Christmas shopping panic is about to set in. I keep buying clothes for myself online. I need to get folks to make lists. Walking around aimlessly in the mall with my weak feet is sounding like torture. I want to be jolly!

I think I will ease myself into shopping with a TJMaxx, visit. Everyone needs a new pair of socks. And I have a ten dollar coupon to use.

The older kids just want cash and gift cards. I like to wrap them up with stocking stuffer gifts, to keep things fun.

I gave my hair dresser a hundred dollar tip today as part of her Christmas present. She was talking about her insurance costs and the impossible deductibles, it was sad to hear how much she pays each month....for nothing.
