Contact your Senators. Happening now.
Demand that they oppose the McCain-Levin package to make gun control easier to pass, and (2) support the Rand Paul amendment to require a two-thirds vote to enact gun control. Here is a link to more information at GOA's site and a contact form or feel free to draft your own.

Bee,
your the one who made the statement, what problem did you mean?
If your talking about this shooting you can't fix it.
If your talking about the world I've been answering that for years.
And you couldn't really fix just one country anyway.
Sure bee your standard of living would change, it's gonna change anyway like it or not.
Moons.

No you haven't given any answers Moons, just a vague suggestion to torch it all. Please just pick one problem related to any conspiracy and while you are trashing what the US Govt. is doing or accused of doing, just add a personal idea or solution to fix the great ill that the conspiracy has exposed. Really there seem to be so many, picking one should be easy.
So, anyway, what is the point of all the bellyaching if you have no faith in working for a better world? What's your plan? What do you see happening, and will you be alive for it, in your vision?
Please explain how this change in a standard of living is supposed to go. Up or down? Which way would suit you, do you think?

Bee,
the standard of living has done nothing but go down since the late sixties and early seventies.
Do you remember two cars in the garage and stay at home moms?
Sorry if I can't give you the specific day things turned to shit.
The thing is Bee, I don't have to fix the worlds problems, they are going to fix themselves.
Hell, I'm just gonna pray, hows that?

fellhofer made an astoundingly good point. What would B & B think if Russia received a petition from Americans of Russian descent that stated that thugs and mafia had seized control of the American Govt and had built up a Nazi Stasi internal police state which was oppressing and abusing Americans, especially at airports sexually molesting women and children, putting fingers in lower body orifices without changing gloves, murdering suspects with no warrants by presidential signed edicts alone, engaging in massive drug trafficking and money laundering and engaging in foreign acts of air terror by drones and illegal wars of aggression.
Let's say this petition was signed by a few million American begging for the Russians to invade the US and stop this terror system, break its back. Would that be okay under international law? Heck America has been harassing its allies in Syria and Iran and messing with their business, is that sufficient cause for a big pre-emptive strike like America has done to Mideast countries.
This is exactly what America has done in the Mideast to rescue the persecuted. Should the tables be turned here. Careful thought will show how far off base our leaders have come and the folks like B & B that drink the mass media koolaide. Now wake the heck up and start procesing reality. Learn why the Constitution exists and why it is a great and much needed doc as is.

Your only clouding the issue Preston.
No one would come to our aid, and we would never ask it of them, we are Americans and we have a history of dealing with our own problems from within, right or wrong.
Gun control is a chop into the base of the tree, like the woodsman's ax one chop at a time, and sooner or later chop chop chop, the tree will fall.
Yes our government does this to other countries and the people know it's not right, but they look away.
It's the people who are at fault here.
We the people.

Moons, I was making a point to counter nonsensical, irrational arguments that America should be the policeman of the
world which is now the world's biggest aggressor and terrorist state.
Here is a better response.
