This is the exact feeling of many intellectual individuals here in the region, I wanted to say something of the sort but didn't know how to phrase it

Since the Civil War America has not had a war on it's own land, they forget what that was like.
Always I have seen a disregard for the lives of others, when it is in someone else's home.
This was one of the reasons for protests during the Vietnam War, as some do see that innocent people are caught up in these wars who only want to live their lives in peace and care not about the politics.

God has a special love For Israel.  Deuteronomy 7:6-8 declare, For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God,the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself,ABOVE ALL PEOPLE THAT ARE UPON THE FACE OF THE EARTH. The Lord dis not set his love upon you,

The Lord God Jehovah told Israel that their country was to be located in the midst of the land,or more literally,in the naval of the earth Ezekiel 38:12.
Its capital city,Jerusalem,was to be situated in the midst of the nations Ezekiel 5:5,and in that capital city the Lord was to put His Name forever,and forever,declaring that HIS EYE AND HIS HEART WOULD BE THERE PERPETUALLY 1 Kings 9:3.
There the Lord promised to establish the Throne od David forever 11Samuel 7:16 and finally give that throne to His OWN AND ETERNAL SON.
Thats why Luke 1:31-33 state, behold thou shalt conceive in thy womb,and bring forth a son,
and shalt call his name Jesus.  He shall be called the SON OF THE HIGHEST,and the Lord shall give unto him the throneof his Father David.
And he shal reign over the house of David forever;and his kingdom shall be no end.

 I think crashing airplanes full of civlians into tall buildings is an act of war.
