Jim,
Jordan is a neighboring country to Palestine/Israel. We have a peace and cooperation treaty with Israel since long. Half of the Jordanians are of Palestinian origin, those who fled from Palestine due to war. They are Jordanians now but they still have relatives in Palestine and or inside Israel. Here we are peaceful loving people, in our school education system we do not preach Jew/Christian/Muslim, we focus on Arab/Jordanian identity, we teach our children that Jews our cousins, we teach peace, human rights etc.
Since the war started in Gaza my 12 years old daughter is asking me questions I don't find proper answers to. The other day she asked me "why doesn't our king send his warplanes to hit Israel who is killing Gaza children and destroying their homes and schools, I hate them?". Is this what you would like your daughter to feel and have in mind Jim? This war and conflict is crazy.

Jim,
We are living these wars here, they are part of our life and our memory, they are not clips of videos on TV, we deserve better I believe. Many people in our region do not know the taste of life, their life ends before it even starts, what do you think a 15 years old child in Gaza think about life, toys, play field, school, good beautiful clothes, money, what do you think he has in heart towards those weapons and who manufactures them and sends them to kill his sister/brother/father/friend, what you think people? Those in Gaza are human beings, they are not rats !!!!!!

Just imagine your life or death and those of your family, friends, colleagues and neighborers are in the hands of a bunch of crazy greedy bunch of Ministers full of hatred and revenge, they discuss your own life behind closed doors and shall either decide to continue with a land invasion or stop the war. Imagine that JIm, how awful is such a fact and how minute and helpless a man can be regarding his own life and well being.

It's a pity indeed, God help those poor lives in Israel and Gaza

Hi Jim, the documentary includes both what Israel did/does and what Palestinians did/do. In regards to Hamas missiles, they can not be compared to the power of destruction of those available for Israel. Israel till now calls them cartoon misiles. Anyway my message isn't who is right and who is wrong, maybe no one is completely right or completely wrong. Gouda said that Israel is the most civilized country and people in the Middle East, well do those videos I posted show a most civilized people
My reply Tell me Ibrahim if Hamas and some of the Arab nations, possed the weapons that Israel has, would the nation of Irael still exist?
If hamas shot 1000 missles at any other country that posses Israel weapons, do you think that hamas. would still exist.
Yes Israel is the most civilized nation in the middle east.

Ibrahim,
My family came to the US in the early 1900's to avoid religious persecution in Northern Ireland. I understand what you are saying and I appreciate your position. We agree on some things, but we differ on others. Your last statement can be used by Muslims against Jews and by the Jews against the Muslims. It is interchangeable depending what side you are on. I am going to refrain posting on this topic, as I generally like you and would prefer not to debate such a highly charged and volatile subject with you. As much as I may disagree with you, I respect your opinion, statements and beliefs. I just see it much differently than you do.

Gouda, I told you bye and take care. You are capable of killing me and my family if you get the chance, you hate my people and deny them their right to live in peace, I have nothing to discuss or share with you, I feel sorry for you but yet those who share you your vision are killing innocent people right now in Gaza and enjoying themselves so there isn't a room here for us to discuss anything in a civil and constructive manner. Sorry

And I respect you Jim and I wouldn't want to loose you as a friend, you remain my good friend and I appreciate your views and stand and have no hard feelings whatsoever.
