Yes, America may be becoming a new yugoslavia, certainly it seems to becoming balkanized right before our eyes.  One of the main characterizations of a failing state is rampant corruption and thuggery in govt. The last few years there have been more complaints of police thuggery and brutality than ever before.  The follwing video is for all interested folks who are NOT honest, ethical police officers. Please skip over this if you are an honest, ethical police officer.  Yes, this is a fair assessment of increasing corruption in several large cities, but not all.

The corruption in yugoslavia was just one of the reactions to the action of thought and fear. All because some groups did not share the same religion, philosophical beliefs, and the fear of being different. I see a real similarity.

Good point Hank.  It seems that a new class type warfare is developing inside America.  It is between the "federal family" of homeland security and its minions including tsa and federalized or militarized big city police.  This authoritarian class has become the enforcers of the offshore based criminal cabal that has hijacked America.  They are supposed to be employees of the people but hijack the people's money through many illegal taxes which provide liberal salary, benefits and retirement.  Numerous experts have stated that there is not enough money to pay all these salaries and benefits in the future and that many will be laid off and replaced by privatized mercenary foreign forces who work at 1/3 the cost. The increasing militarization and federalization of the the police is creating a trend for thuggery and lack of restraint previously existent.  Some are calling this the nazification of American law enforcement and homeland security the new american gestapo.  This thuggery is now apparently rampant at all levels of the federal govt, especially in American intel and the American Military.  But there are many heros on the inside and yes some of the greatest ones these days are Women.  Below is the story on one woman who stopped the whole rotten system dead in its tracks for a period of time.

Here is the story of one of the greatest American Heros that ever lived, Gwenyth Todd.  She saved thousands of lives of American Soldiers and innocent women and children. SHE LAID IT ALL ON THE LINE AND RISKED EVERYTHING TO DO THE RIGHT THING. So far the American major mass mainstream media and press has ignored her.  But now Veterans Today has published the HEROIC STORY of this American Hero.

Bhaugh, obviously you must not live in America.  You need to understand that America has always been a melting pot of immigrants from many nations, folks that come to America and learn the official language, English, and become Americans.  America is a pluralistic society and many different views are held by its citizens. There has always been various ideological struggles and class struggles and these are typically resolved over time through various means.

And you Preston obiously have not lived in illegal infested neighborhood where there are 10+ people living in a house, the police driving up and down your street or better yet driving down it at 55 trying to catch someone who was just mugged or shot, found bullets outside your front door after the police advise "There was a shooting outside your door, did you see anything?", shopping at the vast array of stores only to find that NONE of the patrons speak a lick of English nor ever plan to learn and actually rude that you think they should at least give it a shot. Did I mention I called the cops one night when the private community park sponsors who illegally held a God Saving church service. The park full with all cultures quickly fled when they arrived to ask the church savers to show a PERMIT!
 
Feel free to move into the house I left. It's vacant. And please no history on what AMERICA IS SUPPOSE TO BE. Ive been paying taxes since I was 15 (now 48), taught my son to respect all cultures (but they dont to him by threatening to beat him up and steal from him), tell the truth and have honor. Ill be happy embrace the melting pot just as soon as they come to America legally and show some respect to those already here. Oh and lets not forget learn to SPEAK ENGLISH

wow. my great grandparents were immigrants and i am sure glad they did not face this type of xenophobic attitude as they struggled to fit into america. hell my great grandma still spoke a lot of her native language until the day she died. i guess that made her a bad person. just wow,
