Extreme weather tonight all cross the country, including Karen.

Anybody in the gulf states, besides Erin?

by beetree on 04 October 2013 - 21:10

Damn fine night, here. The kid and the girlfriend are firing up the hot tub. I'll see if there is something in the sky that will be interesting to share.

YR, I always have a log ready. It warmed up nice as long as the sun is shining it is nice around 70. This is typical for October. 2 weeks ago it was in the 90's. November can start getting pretty rough. The east side of the state is a lot different than the coast. We get more snow in the winter and heat in the summer. High desert. Have a good trip.

When does this thread get put to bed....  lol....I am just wondering? They are saying we are going to have some great fall colors this year, and if this maple tree is any indication, I think it will be full of glorious colors. I always say this time of year there aren't too many places to offer such fabulous eye candy. FYI... it is a red maple and not a sugar maple...their leaves turn yellow....
