Mountain Lion

Personally, I don't think anyone's sexuality is anybody else's business.

Personally, I don't care what anyone else's sexual preferance is...

Whatever floats your boat..

I'm not a nosey, busy body, I don't really care about other people's personal choices,

I don't like pushy people. Even though I'm a Christian, even though I like Shatl & Gouda, I thought at one time they were both somewhat annoying and over the top (they are fine now, must have gotten it out of their system). Now I find several of the resident Atheists the same way, if not worse, with their agenda.

I guess when I see the same person's same blah, blah, blah message everyday I ignore them, which I'm very good at. Others on here can't ignore anything and I'll bet that's a real problem for them...

I'm not judging anyone with this post, I'm just commenting on my own observations and personal feelings...

Then why make the choice cracks? It goes much much deeper for you, or are you just the type to jump on the flavor of the month club thing.

BTW, I am not an atheist and I am not miserable, no matter how much you want to project that athesists and those who don't believe what you believe are miserable, it simply isn't true, my life is full I have a hot beautiful wife who I have been married to for 32 years. I have a decent job that pays my bills, I have a couple internet businesses going and I have my kids and grandkids, which are the joy of my life, so please do not ever paint me with your large brush as being miserable or athesist.

I like gouda, shtal I can leave as I think he is like any other extremist in the world. Believe it or not gouda and I have Pmd each over the past few years and I understand him better than I let on.

There is no choice in ones sexuality, we are attracted to who we are attracted to and no amount of Red Sables is ever going to change that truth. Because people like this want to live with a closed mind and show their prejudices to the world does not make it right. I will always stand up for gay rights and the rights of others to live their lives without repression and scorn. Religion has kept people down for years and the blind like Red can't see it. Hell if it was up to religion women would be kept barefoot and pregnant so they couldn't run away from the abuse. But you have woman falling over themselves to go back to old times, I guess they like having no say in life.

This thred was started with Chaz's "nature versus nurture" question.   For those like ML who

profess no interest at all in other peoples' sexuality,  there is an easy answer :   don't join in

conversations you find confusing.  The thred degenerated into what is effectively gay-bashing by

being hijacked by people spouting their religious certainties;  what those really have to do with the

"are we born different, or do we choose to be ?" debate I don't actually know;   the prevailing wind

among those posters, who think their version of scripture is correct and that they follow it exactly,

simply refuses to believe anybody can  be 'created' with such imperfections as to be gay bi or

trans.   [ Well, they really could not acknowledge otherwise, without questioning their faith. ]   That does

not fit their world view, so obviously their vote has to insist on the "its always a choice" option.

Somewhat unscientific;  and I truly wonder how some of  'these people'  can square that direction of

belief against their acknowledgement of inheritance matters among their dogs ...

The trouble  with Beetree internalising any criticism that then arises in arguing against that position

is that she (and maybe others)  start feeling "bullied" because they ('choose to' ?)  think every counter-

argument is launched against them personally as an individual.  I apologise if  my contributions make you

feel that way  Bee,  but I really am addressing the whole argument from the point of how we in the LBGTQ

community also feel constantly 'bullied' by being told we are actively choosing to do wrong things, when  no

part of that accusation feels truthful.  I am not trying to be personally insulting about YOUR views - how could

I be, half the time I can't work out what they are !    It is extremely unweildy to interrupt every post with some

sentence about not aiming the critical comments at any particular correspondent.   As for the "gang" warfare,

I merely asked you to check out who-all was agreeing with you, and by inference who does NOT agree with

you, to see who is using your posts to line up behind,  I want you to think about whether your position walking

the tightrope is allowing people to use you.

Hund~ I appreciate you last post. I do not see this thread as "gay bashing" and I do not feel bullied in any way fwiw,,, :)

I do have a question for you. I want to better understand what you mean by this statement below,,,

simply refuses to believe anybody can  be 'created' with such imperfections as to be gay bi or

trans.   [ Well, they really could not acknowledge otherwise, without questioning their faith. ]   That does

not fit their world view, so obviously their vote has to insist on the "its always a choice" option.

"OP Said:

I'm sitting here arguing with someone that is a "religious" person. I'm of the belief that being gay isn't a choice. My "religious" friend seems to think you just decide to be gay.

Your thoughts?"

"From a biblical perspective there is absolutely no secret as to what is taught with respect to homosexual behavior. It's ridiculous to argue that point. A child can pick  up a bible and understand what it has to say about the topic. "

HYPOCIRTE AND LIES.

ML - you seem increasingly unhinged with yr hateful rants.

Vk ~"  HYPOCIRTE AND LIES." ,,, come on you can do better then that ! Lol

by vk4gsd on 22 August 2014 - 02:08

pretending that you follow the letter of the bible, pick out the  miniscule things  you already agree with and use it to justify your prejudices and ignore the much vaster rest of what it says. never seen any theist any different actually in that regard.

i am sure jesus approves of your lies, hypocrisy and hate peddling.
