Opinions on kennel/mating - Page 1

I've been "out" of Shepherds for about ten years or so, and I'm looking at a pup from the Netherlands. The kennel name is "Leri". Does anyone have opinions on this kennel? The mating is between Leri Waziya Sch 3 AK1 x Doug van Noort Sch3 IPO3 FH1 AK1a. I couldn't find anything on Waziya, but it appears Doug is a VA and comes from a good line. Is this right? Has anyone seen any of his progeny? What are the qualities he passes along most prevalently? Jen

Hi Jennifer, I saw Waziya at the Sieger Show in Germany last week. She placed V102 and she was 3 weeks in whelp. Lena had a young female about 7 months old out of Waziya's last breeding with her just for the ride. She brought her for a walk into the show site and she was a head turner for sure. I personally witnessed a guy from Italy making Lena an offer to buy the pup right there. I would have taken that pup home in a heart beat. Waziya is absolutely gorgeous in anatomy and temperament.

Hi Jen, Leri is an excellent kennel, producing quite well in type and ability. A friend of mine has a beautiful Leri male. He is stunning in color and I just bred my girl to him...beautiful structure/ability and temp. so lovely. She is a breed warden (breeding for over 40 yrs.), originally from Germany, and chose Leri to supply her stud...she has only had good things to say of them. The planning looks good and lines on both excellent...the dams dam is also a lovely dog. Best of luck to you!
