Worst Valentine gift of all time? A rototiller. Best gift? An ex-husband.
LOL Can anyone top that?

Well, let's see. Our first year together I received a diamond necklace and matching earrings. The next year, after we were married I received a set of steak knives. Steak knives, for Valentines day? Really? Hubby saw nothing wrong with it as it was a practical gift that I could cherish for years to come. Ha! He learned the hard way and every year since he simply has flowers delivered to work.....

Nothing says "I love you" like a set of steak knives. lol

Did you practise throwing them at him? LOL!
I don't think I can top that, but this year my dear Hubby & I each (apparently!) went to the same place to get our gifts for each other, he 'had to go to the bank' yesterday, & I made a stop on my way home from therapy. We each got the other the exact same thing....roses & chocolate dipped strawberries! Only our cards were different....LOL...we've been together too long!

Last year I ordered my wife flowers, candy, and a teddy bear and she complained that I spent to much money. GUESS what I got? NOTHING. So I was getting yelled at for getting her exspensive flowers and to top it off she didnt get me anything. I would of atleast liked to have a card. LOL

The first year we were married, my husband bought me a spatula. A cheap SPATULA! Dude had no idea why his gift was lame; steak knives would have been an improvement.

Hubby made me kennel panels this year! Now that says love!!!!!! These things are built to hold rhinos!

It's true- nothing says love like a solidly built kennel panel. Well...maybe the Farscape Director's Cut boxset.

I already have the boxed set ( I dont think it is Directors cut though :) Did you at any point ask for a spatula? I'm thinking maybe he remember you wanting one? I do remember getting a blank video tape and a pen one year though :)

Best - I was away from home this Valentine's day this, when I did return........ the house was spotless, ALL the laundry was done, dogs were bathed and eventhough I arrived at 9pm a hot dinner was waiting........
Worst - My ex-husband wated a $1000 drillpress , he bought it for himself and tied a red bow around it. I procedded to drill holes in every item that he owned...
