Peter peter.......Where are you my friend?
Don't make me get on a plane and fly over there Peter...lol... I sure Lori might get peeved if I were not to return.....or maybe not.........lol...
Hello Patrishap-where are U from USA ?
essentially the kennel name origenated from
having grown up with german sheps who had that extra zip, that rare quality, that makes you want to
own one, that "charismatic" quality that draws one in...
Look in a shepherds eyes and you will know what I mean..
The first shepherd we ever had belonged to my dad
he was a retired- De beers mine dog a german shep with a temperament to die for he had all the characteristcs
of a true working dog protective, loyal, devoted dog
so willing to please and fearless....a handsome dog
with rich black/tan colouring, a excellent swimmer
/tennis player extroadinaire retrieving balls
tirelessly..carrying my racket and not giving it back
old trick..
My kennel name is a tribute to this wonderful dog
Benjamin...he epitomises everything, I love about this
breed..literally grown up on a diet of german shepherds
even during my flaky teenage years they were always
around to help me through those awkward times...
I will draw my last breath with one at my side...
I also own a minature german pinscher..
quite a combo hey..:)
charlie do I detect a conflict of interest?? ha ha
Peter - you do have a way of stirring the pot !!
(Well, that's what keeps the soup from burning on the bottom, right ?) I've been "busy", but I have to
craft a response !! Stay tuned. You know my mouth runneth over on this topic. I must talk about the
"well-Known" breeder who insists she is an "EXPERT"
in taping ears !! Why the heck would you want that kind of handle ?????????? And - as for the older dogs bloating -- another WELL-KNOWN breeder of
Select and Grand Victrix types said: "We had 6 pups but we still have 3 -- cuz 3 BLOATED (at 3 weeks) but
we have the other 3 and we can BREED HER AGAIN NEXT TIME !!! Gotta run - I'll get back to you -- And While we're at it - don't forget to make an appoitment at the doggie dentist if you have to "replace" any
missing pre-molars !!!
Geeze Louise !!
You're in New Zealand ?? Why as I thinking BRITAIN??
Charisma, Me ? conflict of anything?...never Just looking for my friend Peter,Last I heard he was off to fix some electrical problem on the main line going into his house.Just hoping he did not BBQ himself.....
Reflecting on Pine's comment and the possibility that you, Peter, are in NZ...are you familiar with Les Pauling?
Pineridge,
Promises, promises - and I'm so tuned!
Knew topic be right up your sleeve!
Only lost half of pups to bloat, eh - can't think of a more practical attitude - saves on drowning the misfits! Sunny would approve, I'm sure.
Life can be dull without the odd stir, sir! What say you?
Shakespeare country?: My love for the Redcoats is boundless!
Let's hear more of your nuggets.
'Flaky' I like, Charisma.
You know what happened to the cat, Keith.
Cheers
Hello Charlie-the "conflict" thing happens all the time, with a surname like "Ivory" elephant lovers should
be at your door dayly!!!:)
I won't tell you mine you may double over...
Patrishap knows now.. crafty little bugger tracked me down, and my secret is out, I have special "job perks"
so to speak..
shush-Patrishap don' tell a soul! :)
