PINERIDGE

I can't believe this conversation is going on again !! Lenny - I hope you have very high boots - because you're standing in a big pile of your own crap !! You are obviously kennel blind - and cannot see the good in anything you did not produce yourself - if you even breed anything besides hamsters ! You never answered inquiries as to your qualifications to make such comments - What kind of judging license do you have? The dog's progeny speak for themselves -- everybody is not perfect. All this came up last fall. Margit would NEVER SELL THIS DOG -- and certainly not for a PIDDLY 100,000 euro's -- VA DOGS go for upwards of 400,000 - 500,000 E. Inuendo about such a fine lady and judges is totally uncalled for. There are politics in all sports -- I'm not saying that deals are not made - Lots of things happen that we never know about - it's good we don't know -- lots of dogs are "measured" in the pub's !! It's not a secret -- but who has the finest representatives of the breed in the world ? The originators -- still the best -- often imitated - never duplicated !! Yes, I have a Ghandi granddaughter -- and she is georgous and has a mind and wouldn't back down from an elephant !!

We just recently bred to Ghandi and yes, it was in Germany and yes it was this spring. I have rarely seen a male at that age that still as fit as he is, and especially as FIRM as he is. Since I had a chance to be up close to him holding the bitch I could not help but notice his feet. Awesome. Have seen too many GSDs with poor feet. A dog can't work if his feet won't carry him. Yes, he is not as impressive as the larger males he is has to compete against, and of course Ghandi has flaws just like every dog has. Fact is, he has held his ground with many a judge, and he is an outstanding producer, whose offspring has also been judged under many a judge and are holding their own. The nerves on this dog are excellent. He was so cool about the whole thing. The bitch was a real bitch at breeding time yet nothing could phase him. He stayed focussed. Had to try and try again. Definitely no lack of drive there. Kim - this was an old topic from last year that had already been laid to rest. IMO, you should have kept it there...

I'm so glad I have her - and a good match for my (URSUS free) male in a couple of years, if everybody has GOOD HIPS AND ELBOWS AND THYROID, AND EYES, AND PANCREAS, AND WHAT ELSE !!!
