What is needed is some new and fresh perspectives! New players.
Much like what this political season has become, the unscripted and unfolding story of change. Must be part of Trumps whole thrust and appeal, thus far.
He has started the bridge mending, and necessary reaching out to build allies with the Republicans. Certainly not the power hitters--yet. His demeanor was very much low key today from what I saw at the Post Office building, I think it was, and open towards team building. He is on target to mend his broken fences.

Suggestion....there are several other forums here all about dogs, widen your horizons and try one if you can leave your obsession with OT for more than a second or two. Go on, give it a try, promise you won't regret it, you might even find it liberating.

Mrdarcy, I certainly do venture over to the dog side more than others whom you are better enamored with than myself. I certainly am not confused in the least. Your contributions I never consider as having great depth, usually a snark or something to do with with a stumpy digit.
Thank you for awakening me to alertness, at any rate. My insomnia demanded some activity and you did not disappoint.

@vk4 I can't think of a good reason for Trump to sell out his current base supporters, myself. He might find out he can't deliver on some of his promises, (the wall comes to mind) and that could eventually lead to them feeling betrayed--which would essentially feel like the same result.
Regarding how dangerous he is and causing people to get killed, I admit hearing him talk about accepting waterboarding for getting information from terrorists did make me uneasy. And then I wondered how bothered that idea would be to someone who could behead a teenager for listening to music on the radio? Not much, I would think? Also, Hillary has already proved that she can cause Americans to die, as what happened with her handling of Benghazi.
I need to research NATO, it's history in terms of successes/failures, first before I comment further.
