Texas Gov. Rick Perry, whose bid for the White House depends heavily on support from religious conservatives, finds himself confronting an issue that is a flash point for that part of his base: his attempt to order schoolgirls to receive a vaccine that would protect them against a sexually transmitted virus.

The uproar over the Gardasil vaccine — manufactured by ­Merck, a major Perry campaign donor — knocked the candidate off-stride during a Republican debate Monday night.

The vaccine is aimed at shielding girls from human papillomavirus (HPV), a common sexual infection that can lead to cervical cancer. Federal health officials say they are confident that the vaccine is safe, noting that more than 35 million doses have been administered in the United States with no pattern of serious side effects.

Bhaugh - if it came down to it, you'd vote Obama over Perry?

Voting for a "third party" is basically a vote for Obama....

I'm still waiting for a true "statesman" to throw his hat into the race...but the GOP wouldn't endorse him......and it would be back to voting for a third party candidate..... What a mess!

That's the problem with US Politics and the domination of the two party system.  The game is fixed.  Rick Perry is very bad, and yes, Obama is even worse.  But both are globalists who support cafta, nafta, gatt, wto and the end of the USA as a country. Rick Perry has done a pretty good job destroying Texas by not enforcing the borders.  He pushed hard to the nafta superhighway and it has been temporarily stopped since so many Texans fought it.  He is an enemy of Texas and the US Constitution too.  Take your pick, a rotton apple or a rotten orange, or somebody else like Ron Paul, which is not as big a longshot as one thinks if everyone get the word out on his true platform.  Rick Perry works for the same controllers that Obama does, the big int'l wall street banks, big oil, big defense contractors, and those who control the drug cartels.

Gardasil, a very dangerous vaccine despite what all the propaganda the paid "attack poodles" dispense to con the naive.  Be clear about this fact, Rick Perry forced this dangerous vaccine on thousands of defenseless little girls until the people of Texas rose up and stopped it.  Those pundits at govt linked institutions that promote it have a financial or political interest and thus are heavily compromised.  As some experts have said, lets these folks be the first to take the vaccines publicly with randomly selected doses, and also everyone in their families.  So far they have refused.  Why, what are they afraid of ?  What's good for the goose should be good for the gander, no?

Most men who get HPV never develop any symptoms or health problems. But for those who do develop health problems, these are some of the signs and symptoms to look for:

Genital warts:

• One or more growths on the penis, testicles, groin, thighs, or anus.
• Warts may be single, grouped, raised, flat, or cauliflower-shaped. They usually do not hurt.

Anal cancer:

Yes, good point. Unprotected sex outside of marriage carries some serious risk including herpes, HIV, Chlamydia, gonorrhea, ureaplasmosis and many other serious threats.  However it has been pointed out by experts that the HPV vaccine is very ineffective in preventing these HPV related maladies and only works on 3 out of over 100 types of HPV. 

It was manufactured and sold to make profits for big pharma and to reduce fertility long term.  It was never adequately tested.  All the big experts promoting it have conflicts of interest due to connections to the manufacturer.   When one tries to get the truth out, the paid attack poodle start in from all directions in major mass media dress.  It is believed to have been grown off of the cell stock containing simian sv-40 contaminants which cause other types of soft tuissue cancer.  But don't take my word for it, do your own in depth, long term mdical research at your closes library or subscribe to lexus/nexus.

SM, vaccines contain dangerous adjuvants like squalene, aluminum and ethyl mercury, none of which are apprved for human consumption.  Ethyl merceury is the most neuro-toxic substance known to man.  It has been claimed it is necessary for a preservative.  However this has been proven wrong. Plus most vaccines carry the SV-40 simian cancer producing virus and this is well documented. Many gulf war vets are sick and some disabled freom the squalene used for the first time in their vaccines and squalene is highly toxic and dangerous.  But hey, find out for yourself.  Don't just parrot drug company financed propaganda.  Just google some of these subjects.  maybe take a look at the book Mary's Monkey, and all the available research on the SV-40 scandal.  And by the way, no need to insult.  Why not present some evidence instead and some good sources not with conflicts of interest to big pharma.

How much do you really want to learn about Rick Perry?  Let's face it he's a known player and conducts business like most big pols inside the beltway.  That's why Bilderberg picked him for Prez.  If folks get aware of what he is and what he stands for and what the folks are like that surroung him like Lt. Gov Dewhorst (another big player), he can be defeated.  Otherwise expect a replay on bush2.
