Hello, There is a bitch named Maggie v Drachenberg listed in the Database that is listed as "OFA GOOD" . This is false, she is NOT listed at all in the OFA records as having been OFA'd. We owned this bitch up until a year ago, and know for a fact that she was never OFA/OVC. Why must people fabricate such things ??? The poster of the info should be ashamed. This bitch has been bred and unsuspecting buyers of her pups may be misled by this false info on the Database. How is one supposed to guard oneself against this kind of dishonesty. the OFA site address is: http://www.offa.org you can see for yourself. Kathy

Victory, theirs lots of dishonest people here. Unfortunately people will place anything here.. Hell i can go under zambis Pedigree right now and mark her down as a VA dog with kkl1 and SchH3 without it being reviewed. My best advice is not to use this database for professional breeding homework. Use to be great until the trolls mess it up by placing wrongful pictures on dogs (sometimes cartoon characters).

I don't know if the dog is OFA or not, but I have owned two dogs that are not on the OFA database and both were OFA good. That database is not the last word. Maybe you should just ask the new owners about it?

i have no idea how long it takes before changes are made on the ofa database or how often it is done, but i would certainly be careful about making such harsh accusations until i knew for sure that the ofa was never done. since you no longer own the dog, maybe you need to ask the new owners...........just to be sure.

I have a couple of dogs that have thier OFA and they are not on the ofa site...I have all the paperwork and have had people get very pissed off saying that because they were not listed on the site they don't have them, and i just send them copies....just ask, they might have gotten it done, and it just hasn't been posted. If so you should post that here on the site, because you will have caused some concern with people maybe using this site to look at that dog. Heather

I think most people know that all the info here is not proven to be true. Pictures are not correct, some pedigrees and other things are not correct as well. This site is really useful, but all info should be verified before putting 100% of faith into it.

OFA site does not maintain a run on of dogs...call them is the best way...Don't take anyones word.I did and had big problems with the idiot..research is your best method.

We have 4 dogs, who are OFA good and one OFA excellent, they are NOT listed on the OFA data web site. On the AKC pedigrees from their progengy, the OFA information is included.

Try searching the OFA site using only a unique part of your dog's name and check the box that says - any part of the name. You might alos want to try to search under the rating received and the month and year in which it was issued. If there is any sort of misspelling, even a tiny one like a dash or an apostrophe in the wrong spot, using the entire name may not net you any results. Several of my dogs are listed with my kennel name spelled 2 different ways. It took me a while to find them, but they are all there since the mid to late 70's.
