My dog took her first bite on the sleeve today!!  WOOOHOOO!!

I was grinning from ear to ear all the way home!

Some people, most notably the club trainer, have been doubtful whether I should do protection with her, because the first few times she was confronted with the decoy, she seemed insecure. Well, today the insecurity vanished, and she was wagging her tail as the decoy pulled/led her around the room with the bite pillow. When he let her 'win' the game of tug, she pranced proudly around the room, head high, and tail wagging happily!

Another first: she did some escape bites with both pillow and sleeve!

Now, to get the BH wrapped up in the spring, then IPO 1, here we come!!

Ruger, no, unfortunately no pics, though I would have loved someone to have captured the look on my face when she did the sleeve bite! She was very hesitant to bite the pillow when I first introduced her to it, so I was in total shock when she took the sleeve without any hesitation!

Fawn, this is my Ursus grand-kid, Star!  Teeth Smile  Still can't train Gracie at the club until the damn muzzle order is lifted. Sad Smile However, I am doing private training with her with a club member who teaches elsewhere.
