I have observed that people on this site pick up fights and arguments at the least provocation. When Dogs get associated with humans it is expected that the dogs will get a bit civilised. Here I have a doubt if this is working the other way round For the sake of the breed and all of those who are interested in improving the breed I request people on this board to kindly have pity on us and stop this YOU CATCH MY TAIL?? I CATCH YOURS behaviour PLEASE!!!! PLEASE!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!! STOP THIS. NO ONE IS INTERESTED. WHY DONT YOU ALL FIGHT ON PERSONAL EMAILS RATHER THAN FILL THIS SITE WITH RUBBISH

This board is rediculous. I visit many message boards each day. My other past time, next to loving my GSD, is cars. It amazes me that the car forum that I visit daily that hosts thousands of people posting each and every day has little to no problems with people getting along with each other, despite the differences that set them apart. Keep in mind, many of these posters are late teenagers/twenty somethings. Yet the posters on this board do nothing but pick fights and call names, and I'm sure, though your actions bely you, you are all older than the people I spoke of. I know, if I don't like it, stop coming here. But I keep hoping that one day, I might stumble across something with relevance. So until then, I'll keep my posts to myself.

Agree, Alex, but if we just ignore them they might go away. Acknowledging their presence and letting them know they are irritating is what they thrive on.

People should excercise some self control in content. Someone is paying for the rubbish that gets put on in free boards in terms of bandwidth, disk space and processing power. They do this in the hope that constructive dialog happens on a subject close to their hearts - in our case, the dogs. In the absence of a moderator, I really wish there was an option for the person who started the thread to close it for good when it starts straying or to allow a maximum number of posts per user on a thread.

Oh this site is MUCH MUCH more civilized than it was a couple of years ago!! I often have thought when the site was down that the owner was sick of the BS and fighting between factions who apparently know each other and use this site to bicker. I just hold my breath and hope that is not what will happen. But given the circumstances, we should all realize it might just go away one day anyway.
