I recently returned from Germany where I picked up my dog from Willi Eimer and his son Michael. Michael and his sister and her boy friend picked me up (on time) in Munich and I stayed in their home as a guest for 3 days. They are a wonderful family and were very honest with me throughout all of our business together. My dog Dallas vom Steffen Haus was there for schutzhund training and they showed him twice while he was there. They got him the end of July 2003 when Dallas was 18 months old and he got his SchH3 Dec. 6th which is 5 weeks before he turned 2 years (with different judges). Their friend Horst Paulus did most of the training but Willi did all the leg work. They also had Dallas x-rayed for his hips and did a breed survey with SV Judge Wilfred Scheld while there. With all the bad posts and people getting ripped off these people can be trusted and they live in a very nice house on a quiet street with clean kennels. Believe me I was afraid to see my dog after all the stories we hear. I was so happy to see him in good shape and with his usual wonderful coat. If anyone wants I can get you in touch with Willi for training. In fact his son Michael is a frequent reader of posts on this site, Hi Michael! During one of our conversations they felt that the Americans have to stop worring about all of these big name VA studs and start using other good V dogs to help develop the GSD here in the States. I think people are correct when they point out the fact that there are many very good dogs in our own backyards that are son and daughters of VA dogs. The lines are all getting so close we all need to think about expanding and quit fixating on one, two, or even three male studs. I think they have a point. It would also be cheaper than sending your dog to Germany, no language barrier, and a lot of stress on the dog plus the dollar is weak in Europe. Good luck to everyone looking for new puppies and dogs!

So very nice to hear from a satisfied client! I know you are proud of Dallas as you have every reason to be. I can't wait to see him in the ring! JDN - US
