First of all , I'm certain that the whole World is shocked and saddened by yet another school shooting in America . Unfortunately I'm not surprised by it !!! My question is .... How on Earth can the 18 year old Murderer arm himself to the hilt with assault style weapons (or any weapons actually ) but he can't legally purchase alcohol !!! That is crazy to me ! I believe , correct me if I'm wrong, that the legal age for purchasing alcohol is 21. What about cigarettes? So wrong and so sad .

It's so tragic mrdarcy. Can't imagine how the families can cope . My grandson is nine and when I look at those little faces I hug him tighter. When will these massacres ever end ? I doubt they'll ever end !

Well, you people who live in another country are spoon feed what the media wants to give you, and other things are kept from you. Actually, it's also done over here.

ML how did I guess you would be on this. This thread is about 19 innocent babies murdered by a nut. You want to talk about another case or the press? start your own thread. Not really interested in the press take, the facts are that 19 babies and 2 adult teachers were murdered!!!!! Please do not bring this thread down to your usual level. My heart goes out to every one of the parents of these innocent victims.

There's definitely a lot of nuts about that's for sure. It's horrendous that those nuts can get their hands on deadly weapons so easily ! We don't need to hear about it on TV etc , one just has to Google gun crime in USA to see it all . Still can't believe you can't legally buy alcohol untill age 21 but can buy a gun like I can buy a loaf of bread ! Just can't get my head round that !
