 Hi all,

I haven't been reading the forums for the past month. Lot's to do and no leeway given.

I have seen now that some issues have been going on  (sorry to all those that have been sending me emails or PM's.I have been ignoring them for the past month (november) for personal reasons.

I have reduced the number of Moderators and I have started to program a method of tracking moderator usage.  (which did not exist, since when I wrote the system I only made coding for myself as a moderator)

So,  I will code moderator tracking.  (which actually is a great deal of coding,  much more then a simple feature addon, since its built into the whole system)

 Was that English? LOL

Oli, your computer proficiency far surpasses mine, but from what I did understand, I think that sounds like you're on the right track. ;-)

Oli,
I hope all is well with you and your family.

Thank you for taking the time to come here and post.

You really need to find moderators who are completely unbiased, not involved in the drama of this board (and have not been involved), who are not poking their own noses into business not their own (unless of course it has to do with TOS), and who, if they post at all, make their explanations short and sweet and to the point, professional and mature.    I believe that moderation is needed on this site.  But not the kind of moderation that targets individual people, has personal agendas, and who can't help but post long "edits" explaining why they are moderating, that make them sound like  whining children.

Find new moderators!  Or get rid of them altogether.

Things have changed and moderators will not be posting personal comments any longer.

Jenni,   yes,  that was at least supposed to be English,  not sure what you're referring to.

I have since I opened this forum had it not moderated, moderated, not moderated.   since 2003..    I have had people complain and drown out normal posts every time.

Either I have people suing me for allowing negative posts,  or the other side suing me for not allowing free speech.

I have to find a mid-way that keeps the people who oppose to a minimum  ( note that I say minimum not non-existent )

There is always someone who oppose  what is going on.

Freedom of speech is US law, not a website regulation.   I try to have the middle-way ...  however that goes..

Oli,
Consistency is the key.  We realize that it is your forum and we are guests on your forum.  However, most would like an explanation after a post is deleted or a member is banned.  I appreciate the moderators, however to just delete threads and posts with out reason and for varying reasons creates an unhealthy environment.

If the deletions were explained and carried out in a uniform manner, the speculation would end.  When one Moderator deletes one post, another lets it remain then bans a member it becomes very confusing.  The members of the forum would be much happier if they understood what was going on.

JMO,

Jim
