"LET MY 18 MONTH OLD RIDE ALONE NOT BE LEFT ALONE WHILE SHE IS DOING IT! She had a spotter until she was 3. Someone that was beside the horse JUST IN CASE!"

Uh, spotter?  Someone beside the horse?  That's not "alone."

"Oh, miss know it all doesn't know the difference between the predator and it's prey? LMAO"

Why are you bashing hodie?  Read what you wrote.  You wrote: "Dogs are not prey animals that are predators."

Perhaps the word "that" is a mistake, but the point is, you did write that dogs are not animals that are predators.

Thanks for the warning.  But, I am not really trying to win.  I think at this point I don't like mean negative people picking on others just because they have lots of friends on the board and think they know EVERYTHING.  If people would look at my over all message here they would see my general theme is that there are different perspectives on training/breeding/owning a dog.  I don't think that I have met one person EVER that knew everything.  And to act like you do is fraudulent and deceptive.  There are perspectives to what we do.  We should all learn to RESPECT others perspectives even if we don't agree.  Then we may not have USA telling me (and probably others) that I should stay off the message board because those nut jobs will drive me crazy.  We could make this place a REAL resource for new dog owners instead of this ring that you climb in and see who can piss the farthest.

Well you answered your own question.  Why am I on after hodie.  Who brings up a MISPLACED LETTER?  Who?  Yep, a negative person that picks on others.  And unlike most, I am not going to sit around a let some negative person kick me around.  Would you?  Hodie knows full and danm well she can stay in her corner and I will stay in mine.

Get over it!  It is a wrong letter.  BIG FREAKEN WOOP.  They know what was ment!

Oh, and riding alone mean sitting in the saddle while holding the riens and holding YOURSELF in the saddle.  It has nothing to do with someone walking beside the animal AT ALL.  Get a riding dictionary next time.

Unlike ,ost of the threads on this forum, there is NOT a variety of opinions on this issue. There is the opinion shared by 99.999% of the experienced dog owners and trainers ...and the .00001% whose judgment, credibility and intelligence has always been placed into question bu her own actions and statements. Hodie, I HOPE you have copied this entire thread, before "someone" goes back to edit her revealing posts (as per usual). Child protective services may be interested in the content.

Sorry, you wrote what you wrote.  If the opposite had happened, and hodie said well, I just assumed that you misspoke and you meant something OTHER than what you actually wrote, you would be furious that she was putting words in your mouth and you'd be screaming that she couldn't read what you'd actually written.  Blaming others for your poor communication skills doesn't cut it.

And woman, I can outride you and yours any day of the week, and I don't need a dead-broke Western pony with a 6" shank bit either, so don't tell me about any "riding dictionary."  A RIDING DICTIONARY?  LOL.

Mystere - I will defend wlpool as far as horses go that in parts of the country it is totally normal for extremely young children to ride, and to ride without helmets.  Not something a lot of us do, but it IS something a lot of people DO do - different culture, different ways, and not my business.

Ah, the insufferable invincibility of youth. There's not much to be done about it except to let it run its course. Humility, I think, will come with age, and with age, wisdom.

There are those who never seem to learn from their mistakes or the mistakes of others. And some mistakes are beyond repair as this toddler tragedy shows.

LOL, drone bee.  Your threats are stupid.  They may have worked in the past but not here.  Others around me know what kind of parent I am by the way my children have blossomed into wonderful little people.  So take you idiotic threats elsewhere maybe they will work on some sap someplace.
And just so we are clear THERE are differing opinions they just don't speak up because of you negative mean bullies!  Yep, I have plenty of pms to prove it.

What threat, silly? You do love to talk about yourself, that is about the gist of what I said.
