Boondocks K-9 Search and Rescue SCAM WARNING: For the last year we have been with this organization to see of their legitimacy. Unfortunately they are not. They have had no proper training and we have never once seen an improvement on any of their dogs. They've claimed that their dogs hold a certification with SARDUS but the organization has confirmed this to be untrue. They've also claimed that their dogs were certified by FEMA which was also false. They rescue dogs then flip them for hundreds of dollars each. They use off breed dogs, mostly rescues, that do not have the drive or background to do any SAR work. We took two of their "certified SAR" dogs to do a mock search and the only thing they were able to find were areas to go to the bathroom at. I donated a dog that was more then capable of being trained for SAR work. They have done absolutely nothing with this dog. I have been in contact with all the national SAR organization they are apart of and none of them have any records of them being certified. Their kennel Vega Weims has been found guilty of a credit card scam and has lost a civil case brought against them. We have a law suit filed against for the loss of our pup and a slander law suit for lying about our companies after we made our findings public. For more info search the BBB for Vega Weims.
