Links from Database not working - Page 1

Has anyone else noticed that anytime someone shares a pedigree database link to Facebook or other forums that they do not work. Most all my friends are telling me they get the same 404 error code.

Same thing happening here but the links are working for my friends. I get the same error message on my laptop and on my phone.

yup... eeeeeverytime. It's really getting annoying.

Yes, it seems FB causes additional info to be added into the URL, and that screws things up. When the 404 page comes up, delete everything from "&fbclid" back to the end of the address and hit enter, and the page you were looking for will come up.

Not a great solution but better than no solution. The only other thing I was doing was finding the name. But on a paired breeding it just list the mother and father code not their names so that was impossible

It does not work on Mating Checks. It would just be great if they would fix it. Because people are going to move away from PDB

I'm sure the site will go belly-up from the loss of revenue if you stop using the classifieds here...

Oh, wait, the site doesn't get ANY revenue from your classified ads, LOVE THY SHEPHERD, since you're using the FREE classifieds--so how is this site going to suffer from the loss of your ads?

Nothing says gratitude and appreciation for a service that's provided gratis like someone stamping their feet and threatening to take their 'business' elsewhere.

Baerenfangs Erbe, I took a random mating check URL from a Facebook post:

If you follow that full link from the FB post it brings up the 404 page. When you get that page, edit the URL in your address bar, delete the part of the URL that's shown in red in the above example [that's the crap that gets added to the URL when it's posted to FB, for some reason] and then hit 'enter'--that will take you to the mating check the above link is meant to lead you to.
