Hey guys, who would you suggest as a reputable, working line breeder. I'm looking for a Shepherd pup, could be DDR, Czech, combination, etc. I've gotten settled into my new home, and had intended to find a nice pup once I did, maybe a litter due soon, or upcoming fairly soon. I won't limit breeders to the south east (TN is where I am) if you guys have any to recommend farther out.

Sequoyah GSDs in Chattanooga

Staatsmacht would also be an excellent choice, Gary Hanrahan too.
What part of TN?

Hunter, I don't think a staatsmacht dog would be the dog for gsdguy. Guy, you need to explain what your goals for a pup are.

Joanro, sorry about that, I'm actually typing on a phone at the moment, so I didn't type a whole lot. In this case, I won't necessarily be doing any "sport" with the dog. With that said, I would like a pup with good drives (not hectic), one with confidence, and I will be doing your typical obedience, tug work, possibly even tracking and other things I know how to teach/do. I intend to take the pup with me when I go places, stores, even travel for that matter. You get the idea, but I won't necessarily be doing Schutzhund, nor breeding of course. I'm in Murfreesboro, TN.

Again guys, doesn't have to be in TN.

I do have a WL female that is a year old. Bought her as a breeding prospect but her prey is on the low side. Good hips(xrays at 7 months), low prey, good food, good nerves. Dark sable, LC.
Would place her for free to active home, if you are interested in not getting a puppy.

We have a litter coming up between Brutus x Oksana. Have a few spots available. Grandcanyonk9, and Weberhaus I also recommend.

Weberhaus has some really nice dogs. I'll also give a shoutout to Mike Williams' kennel Alte Baum. Lovelovelove his dog Tschako.

This is a great young working line male at a shelter for adoption .. a nice dog and seems well socialized.

This shelter is in northern West Virginia apporx 50 miles south of Pittsburgh on the map. This dog isn't listed on the shelters pet finder site as he's limited to being adopted by an experienced GSD home or rescue so they said call for information on him. . He will need to be neutered upon adoption. The shelter estimated him to be around 1 1/2 yrs of age. He's obviously in need of some good care and whoever owned him isn't interested in getting him back.

Shelter info:

Name: Carlen Male Sable German Shepherd Dog Brooke County Animal Shelter 797 Mac Barnes Dr, Beech Bottom, West Virginia, 26030 ... 304-394-0800 Needs experienced rescue or adopter Shelter is rescue friendly Can provide some transport if required Will need to be neutered Previous information (initial viewing) He is exhibiting kennel stress, very high energy, barking and backing away from strangers, but friendly with staff. So he would need to be fostered and socialized to be ready for a family for adoption. Would need experienced - GSD handler used to high drive working line GSD The shelter employee holding the dog also gives information on him on the video
