Mentayflor : Panzertoo may have a different answer,
but I can tell you the pack I worked with up until a
couple of years ago did not bark much when out
running like this. (My employer has a similar property).
There was nothing about them physically or their training;
they just didn't bark while running free. Whether that is
some reversal to hunting instincts, I don't know, but I
never heard more than the odd single yap out of dogs
who were quite capable of 'barking up a storm' in another
situation !
