Freedom is a right that is defended by the brave men and women who serve our country, it's so tragic when the ultimate sacrifice is made,
my thoughts and prayers are with their families.

Very brave soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Very brave soldiers, the USA's very best that should not have been sent into harms way in undeclared, unprovoked, illegal, unConstitutional Mideast wars fought to make gross profits for the shadow govt war machine. We are at war in 6 Mideast and African countries, not a single one ever attacked us first on American soil. As Rep. Ron Paul has said on many occasions, why have we sent troops to the Mideast in the first place? He has continually claimed this is simply war profiteering and made the point if the US govt was so concerned about protecting the USA, we would seal our borders and stop all the cartels from bringing massive amounts of illegal narcotics in to the continental USA.
Folks might find it helpful to read Genral Smedley Butlers famous book, "War is A Racket" which is now posted and can be viewed free on the Internet. He was the most decorated Marine ever and the defense industry (corps) tried to hire him to lead a coup de etat on the Govt in DC. Not only did he refuse, he reported those responsible, but due to their powerful connections they skated, just like Prescot Bush and Union Bank did during WW2 when their assets were seized for illegal trading with the Nazis. Prescot Bush skirted any punishment due to high level connections. The rest is history.

Not that it really matters it was SEAL Team 6 or not (US Soldiers are US soldiers), we were supposed to be outta there back in 2009 already Obama promised during his 2008 campaign, but, now the Washington Post is saying the ones killed in the crash were not the ones involved in the Bin Laden raid. Just like the Usama Bin Laden deal, news reports change every 20 minutes and others are completely different that the rest.
Also, SEAL Team 6 is the only SEAL Team in Iraq and Afghanistan, just like Seal Team 5 is Artic Warfare etc. Total number of SEALs is about 1200 with maybe 200 or so on a Team at any given time, meaning a lose of 31 is very much a big deal.
It's safe to say, if Obama would have kept his promise to get us outta Iraq and Afghanistan by 2009, this wouldn't have happened.

This is a memorial thread, is it not? A thread about a tragedy? Yet some of you just couldn't wait to jump on it to once more express your politics. Believe it or not, not ONE person gives a rats ass about your politics, or anyone else's on this day, it is about this tragedy, not the why's or who's fault it is, just simply the fact that it's a tragedy.
Have a modicum of class and decency, give it a rest for once, please.

Sorry guys, at least I tried. Silly to try and appeal to an inner grace from someone for whom the concept is so completely foreign. When will I ever learn.
