I was always aware that everything at any age is either male or female, or in some cases with certain species or animal kingdoms, both. Age doesn't have a factor on when it's called male or female. Ads usually read, Male, German Shepherd, so and so many weeks or years old.

Steve, Took me a while but think I figured out what you mean as I was looking through the ads thinking about getting another female. And yes wasted my time looking at a bunch of ads, promising young female or female with great drives only to find they were 8 week old pups or in that general age range. Not what I was looking for. Maybe the solution would be not to not call them male or female but to either ad the age or the word pup to pups. I know your frustration of looking through dozens of ads that are just puppies. you also go through the same when looking for working lines and sort through dozens of show lines. But the ads are free, it is a great service for both the seller and the buyer as some sites even charge the buyer to look at the ads. So thopugh it can be inconvinient and time consumeing to go through all those ads and web site links, It is a great service and best of all IT IS FREE. Mike
