Oh My arrrgggghhhh I woke up this morning to my dogs freaking out, They never just bark to hear they're heads rattle so I get up look out the window to see my neighbors bunch of hired hands (hispanic guys who I've never had problems with before) jumping at the fence arms up and wide and my dogs go balistic. I run to the back door and yell "what the hell is wrong with you" the guy says "I was just looking at them" I said "bullshit I watched you from the window" and continued the butt chewin he had earned, by this time his buddies had turned tail and dispersed, I told the guy stay the hell away from fence, and if he wanted to meet that freaking dog that I would bring him on over, he declined the offer. I called my neighbor and told him what happened, I wanted him to know if they said anything about me yelling at them that Yes I did and why, He laughed and said good for yelling at them and he did not think they would say anything to him cause they know he also would chew they're butts. I seriously did not think that there were really still people out there that were truly this ignorant.

If for any reason one of your dogs climbed the fence and bit one of the S.O.B''s. You would have been at fault. This is just plain mean, and really stupid.

Be very careful, there may be more going on here than you think. Don't mean to frighten you, but someone on my Mal list had similar experiences with a teenage neighbor and one by one her dogs have died from being poisoned. The local cops don't care and the kid is still terrorizing the neighborhood. She lost 4 dogs. These guys could also be thinking about stealing one or more of you dogs and were tying to evaluate that possibility. If I were you I'd never let one dog outside without being with it. I am totally paranoid about things like this and don't think you can be too careful. Dog owners have been methodically stripped of all their civil rights in this country. I promise you should one of these guys get bitten, you dog will be at fault, he or she dog might go on a bad dog list and you could lose your homeowners policy. It's hard to own multiple dogs when you have close neighbors. I feel for you. Any chance you can install a privacy fence?

No kidding, and the sick part of this is that our dogs are so good with people, They are edging on overly friendly when in public, I'd just asoon keep it that way !!! Not with bone heads like these jar headed nit whits around it won't stay that way. If I ever catch them being stupid like that again I'll meet them next time equalized !! This is not a Joke to me, these dogs are my babies, No One will cause the demise of one of them by they're own stupidity without severe consequence. An EYE for an EYE.

If you catch them teasing your dogs again, try to get video. In most areas if you can prove that the person bitten had been harassing and tormenting your dog it mitagates or elimanates your liablity if that dog bites that person. Also make a police report on the incedent. Though the police and your local animal control may not follow through, it gives you more proof of a prior problem being caused by this person, if future legal problems should arise. A few years back I complained about an extermenater, that he was telling the company that he had seviced my property when he had dropped off the bill and left because he is afraid of dogs. My complaint got him fired. A week later all the dogs on the property got sick. My tenant's five month old pup almost died and her ridgeback became insane agressive when strangers would walk up to his pen. As long as he was out he was still fine. Before this he had shown no aggression ever. I have no proof so I could not go after the guy I know did it.

Need to clarify that so far my dogs have not been injured, sorry if I lead anyone to beleive they had been. I was meaning to say if the jerk got himself hurt by being stupid that caused my dog to be punished for it by law, well then that would be another story. But my dogs were being tormented by this idiot. not tortured.

I fired my lawn care company for leaving the gate open. Luckily, my geriatric German Shepherd knew better than to wander off, and only lay down in the shade of the front porch. Could have been A LOT worse. When we used to tie her out to the side porch she once bit a man who was delivering flyers door to door. Thank goodness he had a heavy leather jacket on, and was not hurt. (I had a few angry words with my husband about leaving her tied out unattended, but I think they fell on deaf ears...)

EM - Kuddles to you!!!! My neighbor does the same thing...as she loves to point out...she's on HER property though. She walks right up against my fence with her dogs in tow (and not on leashes), driving my dogs crazy. I've politly asked her several times to please stop, to no avail. Finally, my attorney told me to start video taping her every single time we see her doing it. When se did this she actually called the cops on me! LOL To boot, ( and sad part for her)..they sent the K-9 Officer on the complaint! ROFL She no longer walks right up on the fence line, and most of the time, walks on the other side of the street now! :-)

My neighbor is a blank etty blank blank...you fill in the blanks, to my dogs. Her son and her scream and yell at my dogs when they are on the side of her house and I have caught her son sparyaing my dogs with their hose, hitting the kennel and just being rediculous because the dogs bark, when they are right there. Of course it has only escelated from there. One bitch hasn't forgot and now makes it her full time job to bug the neighbor as much as she can. I used to tell my dogs to knock it off when they barked at her, she lives there after all. The son however doesn't and my dogs should bark like mad when he walks up between our houses. They know he doesn't belong there. Now it's a lost cause, the dogs hate them and they hate the dogs. She is hardly ever home, so it's not a huge issue but I would like to have nipped it in the bud, however her cooperation would be needed for that and I never got it. I'm not worried about her poisoning my dogs. I've been here going on 6 years now. She knows I would know it was her, if something happened. She doesn't wanna open that can of worms, I'm sure! All of my other neighbors love the dogs and think they are well trained and just over all fun to watch. They even noticed when Trick broke his leg and was kept inside. They wondered why they hadn't seen him on our daily walks and rides in the car. I know they all see the dogs as the neighborhood watch, not just my personal guardians.
