I would think "Pedigree Database: German Shepherd" might be a clue.

I would think an apology should be enough.

by EduCainine on 22 April 2007 - 08:04

Yes the apology was enough, you were very polite. Good luck with your dog.

suvoth, Nothing wrong with seeking advice and expanding your knowledge base. With that said however I do beleive you need to be educating yourself much beyond what you have. There are things like Sexually transmitable diseases that your dog can get from covering/breeding a female if she is not properly checked. these diseases are not seen by the eye but will be devistating to not only your dog but to any dog he would cover thereafter as well. Please contact a long time "Respectable" breeder, (not one who sells to pet stores) who would be willing to further educate you. Your on the right track with your wanting and willingness to learn, Don't give that up. Best of luck to you but please don't breed this dog to anything before you have all the facts of what breeding could potentially do to your dog.
