The photos are fine for me probably your setting on computer or labtop on your Browser.

I had my page zoom set to 110% to make the text look larger. I reset it to 100% and the photos still look a bit 'smushed' but better tan they were. It's just the photos at the top of the page - if I click on an ad, the photos in the ad itself are normal
I reset the zoom to 90% and the photos look pretty normal now. I use Google Chrome as my browser. It could be something that only happens with a particular browser.
Edit: photos still look a bit smushed. Text is very small, so am going to have to go back to either 100 or 110% zoom.

Google Chrome does make photos "smushed) need to use a much lower photo setting. I use Firefox works best for me as Google always comes in too large at 100%. My zoom is set at 100% in Firefox.

Been using FF at 100 percent. No matter what I do with FF, the pix are still smushed :-(
The same thing happens in Brave :-(
The same thing happens in Tor :-(
Refuse to use Chrome because the only time I ever downloaded and installed it, it ate my hard drive :-(
Wonder if it has something to do with the force-fed Windows updates :-(
