There was a member on this board back when I first joined who bred DDR shepherds. She was very knowledgeable about the breed, and we never dreamt at the time that she was living in absolute squalor with her dogs.

I can't find the relevant threads, but if you search for her name (Judy Malone) on this forum, lots of threads will pop up.

Hopefully someone who remembers her better than I do can provide more information. Her kennel name was Alt-Ostland

Sunny, the DDR doyenne was who living in utter squalor was Janice Bartmess; Malone was an acolyte who may have done some business with Bartmess. "At it again" is accurate, as this isn't the first time this kind of report has come out, but nothing seems to change.

Yes, I ran across the posts about Janice as I was searching old threads. Malone may not be as bad as far as her own living conditions go (I have no idea what those are like) but she's definitely a dog hoarder, and these poor animals deserve better!

Sunny, how disgusting those poor dogs!!!! Who is it doing the filming and narrating the videos? Seems strange that she is calling out the breeder/owner but admits to having lived there and has dogs there too!! Also she keeps saying the date is 28th of May 21, but we are only on the 25th??
How can anyone think it is okay to keep dogs in such filth and squalor!!!
