My 18 week old gsd's hind legs are a bit wobbly...what is normal and not..Anything I can do to strenghthen them? maybe I'm just paranoid but his legs seem a bit more wobbly than what I have been use to or remember from my past two shepherds. He is also fairly large in length and height but normal weight. We nicknamed him bruiser when he was born because he was the largest of the litter.

I see it many times and would not worry. Keep them light and let nature work things out. If the parents don't have a problem, chances are your pup will be fine.

Normal for that age. The bigger the dog at that young age the more wobble you will see.

It is easy to just make it off as normal, and it could be if the dog is very angulated. You don't mention the lines so it is difficult to know whether he might be a bit over angulated, in which case he will grow into his legs. However, if the wobbling is accompanied by an aversion to jump (not high - just up at you in ecited greeting etc. mind you) or run and the croup has a short, square look to it, you may have reason to be concerned. I'd go to an expreienced vet and have him pre-screened if I were you. Even if just to put my own mind at rest.
