Thanks Dog1. I'm planning on being at the German Sieger Show. Does anyone have any tips on how to plan out a trip to the German Sieger show. This will be my first time at a Sieger show. I'm looking at hotel & travel costs etc.

You fly into either Stuttgart or Munich. Stuttgart is closer. It is about a one hour drive south from Stutttgart to Ulm. Ulm is a small town so the hotels are fully booked at this time. Just stay outside of town. Hotel prices range between 70 and 160 Euros. Usually breakfast is free at the hotel, if not it is usually 10 to 20 Euros, lunch is at the show, and dinner is between 15 and 30 Euros. Your other expenses are air fare and car rental. See you there. This will be my 39th consecutive.

GSDrcool, it will be an experience you will cherish for a long time. Take a good pair of binoculrs with you . If you want to take snaps, make sure your camera has very good optical zoom. Decide upfront what dogs you want to see - there is action in multiple rings. If you don't plan, all you will do is run between rings. wear very comfortable shoes. It is a shopper's paradise - you can buy all you would ever want for GSD.

Hi GSDrcool, for travel info, please go to www.germany-tourism.de. For hotels in Ulm, www.tourismus.ulm.de?index.dpx Click on "English" in the upper left corner, then "Hotels A-Z" in the upper right. Chris

Sorry correction: www.tourismus.ulm.de/index.dpx My apologies, sometimes a write on a German keyboard, sometimes on an English. A few features are different. Chris

Thankyou friends for your inputs. Helps a lot. I've heard Fred Lanting arranges guided tours to the Sieger Show. Anyone with experiences of the same? Wish u all a merry x-mas

Some questions: Are there any entry fees for the show? Are all the events gonna be held in stadiums or also in other grounds? Are these located far apart? Should I be staying outside town or near the event site? Are buses available or should I rent a car? ooofffff ... i got so many more questions in my mind.
