How many of you xray your dogs/bitches elbows before breeding? Do you submit them to OFA or SV?
Forgive me if i am unaware, but does the SV require elbows yet? If not, how many feel they should mandate elbows with hips for a rating before breeding?

The SV does not require elbow x-rays. I personally think that the record speaks for itself. There is a high rise of elbow displasia and probable genetic so why wait until the dog has bred 100 litters. My personal opinion is that the elbows should be required to be x-rayed the same as the hips before any stud dog is given the SV approval.
