Thanks for sharing the pictures!  I too was in the 101st a while ago (hence the 2-187 aspect of my name....).  Was your neice's husband attached to the Ranger Regiment?  Its hard me to see, but it looks like in the picture the gentleman with the SAW (M-249) has a "scroll" combat patch?

Again, sned my regards and thanks for their service (the .45%).

I do not know what regiment my niece's husband is in.  All I know is he is in military intelligence and he can't tell us much more than that.  In the pic, he is not the one with the SAW.  My other niece (sister to the one I just mentioned) is married to a guy that just ended 8 yrs in the Army (also in military intelligence) and he served in Iraq during the height of the war there.  He is now working in military intelligence as a civilian.  Also can't tell you what he does since he can't tell us.
