Well, I was sitting on the couch last night and watching Overboard (Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn) and wondered, what other undiscovered gems are there that I haven't seen? Seriously, this was one of the sweetest movies I had seen in a long time.

Any recommendations for other great movies with a romantic theme/twist? If it has animals in it, all the better!

Thanks in advance!

The Cutting Edge 1992 and Cool Runnings are fun, feel good movies

Try watching "Seems like old times" with goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase. Really a good family funny movie. And there are several dogs in it! One of my all time favorites!!!!

Well, when I think of "older, romantic movies", I'm not usually thinking of the eighties. But here's one, a surefire classic, but you probably don't need to rent it, just wait for cable to cycle around again, you remember, "Crocodile" Dundee?

.... ....   and don't forget

Well thanks everyone, that was a heck of a lot more responses than I was expecting!

I LOVE Crocodile Dundee! I had a chance to buy When Harry Met Sally a few nights ago, they had it in a sale bin at K-mart. Funny thing, my husband ALSO recommended it to me :)

Funny thing, I remember watching Cool Runnings for a Language Arts class, again, another feel good movie and I love some of the music!

I've heard of Romancing the Stone but sadly I haven't heard of the others, but heck, it's something for me to look into!

Thanks again!
