Passing on - Page 1

I have not made a post here in a very long time. 14 months ago my wife of 40 years was diagnosed with lung cancer that had spread to both lungs and lymph nodes, Stray Pixels decided she did not want to fight and chose hospice over treatment. Stray Pixels passed away about 5 months ago and while I loved this site at one time, the constant stupidity of a very few members drove me away because I just got sick of the fight to try and clean the site up. It has settled down in the past couple years but took a huge hit in membership because some couldn’t use the site as their racist, sexist and xenophobic playground.

What I am trying to say is this, life is to short for the petty bullshit that used to be PDB SO please treat each other with respect and kindness because you don’t know what the other member is going through.

GSD, very sad news to hear so sorry to hear you lost your wife.  Please take care of yourself and do hope you will return soon to the PDB.
