My previous post had incorrect state. Should be Arlington, Virginia, not West Virginia. Any trainers from that area?

What kind of traininmg are you looking for? We have a Schutzhund training group that trains in MD and Purcellville, VA. Our training director also offers private lessons. He is a certified national level helper and is also a certified training helper. He has 30yrs of experience training dogs. If youy are interested let me know. Theresa Sheesh101@hotmail.com

I have a client who has a lab/border collie mix. I have been training the dog for about 3 weeks now. The owners chief complaint was that the dog was dog aggressive. I have worked her general obedience, as well as, putting her in situations to work on the dog aggression. Which, by the way to me was the lack of obedience more than true aggression.

The client is relocating from Michigan to West Virginia, and I wanted to find her a trainer who she could continue with in a group situation to keep the dog socialized and keep the owner consistant. This dog and owner need balance. A trainer who not only uses motivation (the dog has nice, high, food motivation), but is not afraid to have an owner correct the dog either. I have her using a pinch collar and would like to steer her toward someone who can continue these two on the same path. Please do not respond if you don't agree with the pinch collar. I have been professionally training for 25 years, and this is what works for this dog and owner.

If you know of anyone who conducts group classes, please let me know.
