Has anyone heard anything about the WDA's upcoming National Events?  I can't find a webpage, website or link to information that refers me anywhere other than to one of the WDA's member/committee chairman. There is a link to their Website to the Universal but when you click on it you go to last year's event.  Their events are supposed to commence in just 24 days and seemingly no info is available unless it is just available to members and then only behind the membership wall.  Is there a host hotel? Are entry forms available anywhere and if so how do you get one and then where do you send it?  What are the entry rules?  Are the events going to really take place?

I think they've switched from IPO to flyball and dock diving.

Maybe the WDA has decided to leave IPO not with a bang but a wimper ?

They are history without SV support or GSDCA pity and I don't think they have either now

The March 29th Hundegram/Yee letter, clearly stated that the WDA was going ahead with the Universal and IPO Championships.  I, for one, can't see how they can hold either event with as little information as is available to the public on their website or any form of  public media to which I have access. I don't know how anyone wishing to enter either of their events could find an entry form. I tried by posting here and on "Facebook" the inquiry about the absence of available information.  Neither of my attempts got a single response with any pertinent information.

Fortunately for WDA members wishing to compete for a position on the World Team, all is not lost even if the WDA doesn't hold it's events.  Any WDA member who is also a member of the GSDCA or who applies to join the GSDCA can compete in the GSDCA's IPO Championship. By doing so, they will earn the opportunity to qualify for entry in the World Team qualifier.
