Pierre as in WA k9 academy? 10 years back? With a mal named Arrow?

It was longer than 10 years, more like 25 or so, lol.     I had a female Mal pup named Arial, and a Belgian Tervuren.    I remember a woman doing decoy work, her name was Sandy (?).     My friends from Van Island had Bouviers, we were all camping on the property and had a great time.     What a rag-tag bunch we were, but all had fun and really learned a lot about FR that weekend.   Teeth Smile

Pierre owned and operated Can-Am out f Tacoma for many years. Yes, his club was Wahington K9 Academy and Washington Defense Dogs for many years.that started about 1992-94(?).

I think the woman decoy you are referencing is Patty Davidson, who was the first woman decoy
certified in the US. She has been in schutzhund for the past several years.

I apprenticed with him at the tacoma location.  Well mostley helped out cleaning kennels and helping where I can. Even got put in the suit a few times! Still remember the bruises lol..Soaked in as much info as I could and asked a ton of questions. He was (and still is) a very kind man who had a lot of patience for some teenager constantly bugging him with the whys and hows of all things related to dogs!   Here is his mini bio
