Tears of mirth?

by vk4gsd on 20 July 2014 - 02:07

not for me, i respect and admire working dogs of any breed and calling, but this....???

my tears are not of mirth, these were once called devil dogs and from what i hear it was not hype.

I got to the point where the dog did the paw lift. Definitely not what I think of about as a devil dog.

oh wow!  Not what I expected to see!

I watched about half the vid...couldn't take it any more.

I quit halfway through too.  They used to brew a much better working dog than this.they stayed too far from the work and went all show.this is a cautionary video for German shepherd dog people.this is where we are headed if we don't maintain the titling and the work of the breed

Quit bashing BZCZ, the breed is fine!

by bzcz on 20 July 2014 - 06:07

Bashing?  You call this fine?  No heeling, poor grips, lack of engagement?  Define fine for me please because I don't see it.

We used to see some nice dobermans out there trialing and working and now? I've seen one in the last two years.

So again, define fine for me.  What are your benchmarks for that statement?  This is a video from Europe I believe.
