Rottsdale failure to deliver pup or return deposit - Page 1

I was wanting to ask if any of the members have camo across a breeder in Co.Cavan in the Republic of Ireland called Rottsdale. In June last year I contacted the breeder called Alan and sent a deposit for a Rotweiler pup that was to be born in August. Once I paid the deposit in July I heard not another thing from Alan, was not told when or if the pups were born and got not one reply to my requests for my deposit to be returned. I also had a solicitor in the Republic of ireland to send a demand to Rottsdale but this also was ignored. What added to my opinion that this is a scam, is that having experienced it first hand, another breeder in Northern Ireland said that he was aware that Rottsdale had taken deposits wothout producing a pup or a refund.
I hope that in posting this comment,that other members of the public who are thinking of booking a pup, think twice about parting with any deposit to Rottsdale
