Here's the VA quake, but there was another one just as big near the south border of Colorado.
Since at least 1774, people in central Virginia have felt small earthquakes and suffered damage from infrequent larger ones. The largest damaging earthquake (magnitude 4.8) in the seismic zone occurred in 1875. Smaller earthquakes that cause little or no damage are felt each year or two.

Here's my response to that thread;
Wow......when I first read the Thread Title I thought you guys were talking about the earth quake in Southern Colorado.

Interesting how two quakes similar in size, occurred almost exactly due east and west of each other (look at google maps) and were only 12 hours apart.
