Porsche was a wonderful dog, he passed on at 14 years of age of gastric torsion. His hips and elbows were re-certified at the age of ten and were still OVC normal. He sired 9 litters with a total of 56 puppies.
FULL DISCLOSURE: Out of those 56 puppies, we had two mild hip dysplasia, one mild elbow dysplasia, one cryptorchid, one perianal fistula, one pancreatic insufficiency (in an older dog) and pannus (which I now know came from the female) I feel that is a pretty good track record. All those dogs were spayed and neutered. His progeny which was kept for breeding produced very healthy pups with the very occasional hip dysplasia and cryptorchid.
Porsche's temperament was exemplary; he was calm, confident, courageous, very smart, tolerant of other males but very proud and stubborn :-) He could figure out and open any door in his way, he loved to swim, loved to sleep in the snow with his nose tucked into his tail, loved to steal and eat the ripest tomatoes from the garden, he hated snowmobiles, all terrain vehicles and the garbage truck.
He had normal prey drive for bitework when doing schutzhund but showed his true colors when doing 'real' protection work on hidden sleeves and body suits in simulated defense situations. He was trained extensively for personal protection and I trusted him with my life. At the same time, he was a wonderful breed ambassador; I did bite prevention workshops with him in my children's school for years and he was always so patient and gentle.
Porsche was a dog like no other I have known, I miss him dearly and no other will ever replace him in my heart.

Porsche placed V1 in the Veteran Class at the 2007 Canadian Sieger Show, the judge, Ernst Siefert, made the comment that the dog was in superb form, still had beautiful movement and showed much, much spirit and willingness to show and move.

Porsche continues to prove his worth with his health and vitality, his temperament and personality. He is a joy to live with and a super grand-father and puppy babysitter!

Porsche is now in Canada, available as Stud to approved females.
His temperament is awesome, his work is real and serious, but he is kind and gentle with his familly and freinds. He is real smart and absolutely clear in the head.
