To me two wrong are still wrong.

The Jews have a veil put over their eyes that will soon be taken away.

Atheist never had a veil put over their eyes,they openly chose like all the rest of us.

I think most Jewish people would disagree with you on the point

about the veil, John.

Weinstein isn't an atheist, he is Jewish.  He is doing his job - which

the article points out he gets paid for - because he has received

representations from those who find this whole matter distasteful.

They are not the first or the last who feel that it is very wrong to tie

Church and State too closely together, because it causes rifts in the

population as a whole.  This is a legitamate p.o.v.

So the whole tenure of the headline is inaccurate, as is the description

of him as an 'atheist',  the implication once again being there is some

kind of concerted efforts by non-believers to tndermine faith(s).  Give it

up, you lower yourself to the poor standards of the Media when you

use their stuff to preach with.

I don't think the Meedja are using anyone's standards except

their own.  Biblical doesn't get a look-in.

Looky here! Certainly, the Meedja loves reporting everything Pope. And Sainthood. Must feel confident enough to not belittle those $ payers that exist.
