The GSD is out of the game for many years, qualifies for most stupid statement of the year, many, many, many clients worldwide want ONLY GSD and will not take malinois,furthermore most dutch K9 centers buy their majority of dogs in central europe, not from KNPV breeding

And  GSD(comercial) breeders  here its maybe hard  to hear  and see the true in K9 world   .

learn to read, I know 99 % of KNPV dogs are mix malinois, but all of dutch bred  KNPV dogs together only fill 5 to 10 % of worldwide LE demand

secondly I bred 3 litters of malinois/mix in total in my 30 years of breeding, 99% of what I breed is pedigree GSD, and your dumbass friend jan who you get al your infro fom doesnot know any of them or maybe one sold to a pet home in netherlands,

furthermore, you going personal again shows you have no factual answers

on the dog that was with killing of al bagdady, the videos just came out from the action, he started running when shots were fired and is actually nowhere to be seen when the soldiers enter the facility, looks like he was out already befor the fun began

There are still GSDs out there that are substantial in size and bone. My GSD is out of West German, Czech, and Slovak lines and goes back to some old, very good DDR dogs. He is 26" at the withers, about 105 pounds and has a strong head and bone and is a very strong dog physically. But I will admit, when other people come to our club and train, their male GSDs look small compared to mine. Not so much fine bones or narrow heads, just smaller versions and not as heavily boned. Not as much drive or aggression either.

you can browse working dogs in classifieds and see what in the offers.
i not saying that nice structured GSDs already disappeared. just they become very uncommon today.
obvious trend toward the small and light type with more accent on color than anything else.
