@Shanwicus, by work do you mean hypothetically because as far as I can tell you are not a MWD or K9 handler. So these live bites you speak of are all in your imagination.

And I'm sure someone could post a video of a 4 month old chihuahua displaying the same behavior as your man eater.

Also, all dogs have defense in their genes just as they all have prey.

I even doubt, assuming you aren't a troll, that this defensive and civil aggression is just that. It might even be prey drive that you interpret as defense.

That's the sad thing , chiuhas nowadays have more defense drive and hardness than most so called working GSD. And don't go asumming anything , u don't know anything about me and no this Convo isn't about pups but dogs in general

Well, Shawni, by all means then, please, why don't YOU educate US. Post those videos you've got of your 'maneaters' so we can all see what a REAL dog acts like, since no one else in this thread has REAL dogs, hmm? I'm always game to learn something new, and I was schooled to recognize that I can always learn something from ANYONE who's training dogs, even if it's just that I don't want to replicate what that person was doing.

Bring those videos on, hardcase!

@Shawnicus, on the contrary, I know enough about you to know you are a troll or living in some fantasy world. If this puppy of yours exist I doubt the behavior you describe is being interpreted properly by you. You are seeing what you want to see. You say your dog wants to kill other dogs and people. OK, has he actually done this? Has he even come close, as in actually bitten these people or dogs? He has demonstrated this crazy fight drive, for real? My bet is that when he barks at other dogs and appears to want to kill them all he really wants to do is sniff their asses and play.

@Shawnicus, you are not a K9 or MWD handler thus any dog you own is a pet. Even if you bring it with you while you perform neighborhood watch duties, it is a pet.

A bunch of folks on here talk a lot , only to find out that they did not even have a dog..or had something a serious person wont take a second look.
Susie: no dog, Hexe: never posted a pic when asked, Hundmutter: no dog, into rescuing strays, SS: a washed out looking foxy possibly GSD. Yet they are the ones passing the loudest judgements.
