Because there's never enough Mikasa :)  I've started looking for stud dogs for her.  So far only two have caught my eye (one is Canadian, the other is WGSL).  First breeding is planned for next year, so I have ime to keep looking.  Official OFAs next month for her and Soul Eater, as well as HT testing for her.  Soull will hopefully get his HT in the fall.

Mikasa is 23 months old as of yesterday (can't believe it).  Photo was taken today.  We have shows this week and I am hoping she gets noticed

I'm sure you will make every consideration in selecting a suitable sire for her first litter. Good luck on the weekend's showing.

The Canadian/American boy I like has his RN, which is a basic title, but he was actually trained for it. I've gotten to hang out with him several times in different locations so I've been able to see how he handles some different environments. He has his HIC on sheep, so I least wouldn't be losing instinct. Several dogs in his pedigree have tested titles, a couple have started titles. "Herdy" dogs are very common in the pedigree. Pretty strong in terms of joint health.

Second sire is a very strong working WGSL male. Liked the work I saw. Very committed to the bites. I know some people will criticize the training, but where the dog comes from/lives, there really aren't any options for getting him worked, so they do what they have to to work him. Could bring in some more toy and prey drive, bring nerve strength up further, and maintain the style and type I like without sacrificing ability to work.

Very different animals, would produce different animals, both good but in different ways
